Smoldering Lip Stain

I had a dentist appointment today, so I decided to see how the lip stain held up. After he filled a few cavities, my face was numb and swollen, but the lip stain was still in place! I had to fix my foundation around my nose where the laughing gas mask set, but I didn't have to touch up the lip stain at all. It was still beautifully in place. 

I wasn't sure what color to wear this morning, so I tested a few colors on my hands. I have washed my hands several times today and those swatches are still there. Kiss proof, smudge proof, this stuff is the bomb!

Sappy Lip Stain

Oh, black, how I have missed you. I just don't feel like I look quite right in any other color.

My family is going out of town for a weekend trip this weekend, so I decided to wear my lip stain color today instead of Sunday. I've been trying to get a selfie in each color and I think I only have 2 or 3 left to try out. Today, I'm wearing the color Sappy. I like that its a softer red color for days I want to wear red, but not a bold red.

Dreamy and Skeptical Splurge Cream Shadow

 Can we just take a moment and notice that I haven't worn black in 3 days. I didn't get laundry done on Sunday, like I normally do, so I've been forced to wear other clothes in my closet. But if you look back over the week, its easy to see that grey is my second favorite color to wear. 

Taking a selfie every day has helped me try all the different products I own. Half the time, I still go with my standard favorites, but sometimes, I dig into my cupboard and pull out a color I haven't used in a long time. Today, that color was the Dreamy Splurge Cream Shadow.

Lip Stain Sunday - Skittish

I have loved trying out the lip stains each Sunday. I forgot, that when applied correctly, I really like them. They just require a lot of prep work for my lips. I have to exfoliate them well the night before and coat them in lip vaseline. In the morning, I wash off any residue and then my lips are ready. 

With the lipsticks, I am all about the red, but with the lip stains, I actually prefer the pinks. Skittish has always been one of my favorites.

I am in love with the new Bittersweet Splurge Cream Shadow. I wore it yesterday and a few Y-Sister's shared their looks with me. When I saw this one, I knew I had to try it. I pretty much own every color, or every products. One of those is the Pressed Blushers. I own all 5 colors, but rarely use them; I've never used the Sophisticated Blusher. But when I saw how a lady applied it on her eyes, I had to try it! It paired perfectly with the Bittersweet Splurge Cream Shadow.
